Anyway, I read this earlier today. It made me sad, but also hopeful that he's lying since he's apparently concerned with keeping that element of surprise with the audience.
Moffat says it's unlikely that Moriarty will return

And an article/essay that I thought was interesting. Probably because I tend to agree with a lot of it.
