Summary: Inspired by this prompt and my long-time fascination with the story of Tam Lin. John goes to the woods, all alone, to see a haunted old tower and a mysterious man – not a ghost but not quite human either…
To set an eerie fairytale mood, you might want to turn on a song I was listening to while writing this story – “Geidelborius” by The Rowan Tower. It’s uncanny enough even if you don’t understand the words.
