We've never done one of these before and it just occurred to me the other day that maybe we should and it would be fun. So the purpose of this is to meet people with the same or similar interests. In this case, hopefully Sherlock is one of those :D

Talk, share things, friend people's journals and begin to stalk them... Whatever.

Hoorah! Another person from my part of the country. :D

Bromance is among my favourite things. I do like slash, but too much of it after a while gets…stifling. Repetitive. A bit of genfic is a breath of fresh air. :)

Although: *you're. Your is the possessive form. I'm very tempted to say "my interested what?"

Speaking of epic friendship, have you read cyreus's Bromance Isn't Dead (http://cyerus.livejournal.com/11830.html)? It's John and Lestrade being epically bromantic together and it is awesome.

LOL!! Me and my you're / yours and they're / theirs...

This is exactly why I use beta readers. (I'm especially bad with than / then, in my head it sounds the same!)

*snerk*

I am continuously baffled by the difficulties native speakers of English seem to have with their own language, especially in written form.
