We've never done one of these before and it just occurred to me the other day that maybe we should and it would be fun. So the purpose of this is to meet people with the same or similar interests. In this case, hopefully Sherlock is one of those :D

Ooh, I'm a fan of SG-1 and Trek, too! Original Series, more than any other, 'cept for Reboot. Also a huge Star Wars geek.

Where did you find those? Captain America is one of my favorite Avengers (Well, most of them are my favorite, but I look really good in blue and red) to the point that literally right now I'm making a costume "for Comic-Con" that will end up getting worn to opening weekend of the Avengers movie ;-)

Lucky! I wish I could go to comic-con! Heh. I'd cosplay for Avengers, but my friends aren't fandom-geeks, and would probably refuse to be seen with me.

Yeah, I used to live in NY, but just moved here a year and a half ago. I love being able to go to all the cons!

And my friends aren't exactly fandom geeks, but they know I put together fantastic costumes at any opportunity, and that it makes me happy, so they encourage it :-) I think I can convince at least one of them to dress up as Thor, too...
