And if he is, what is he willing to do about it?

Summary: She had seen what being in love with a married man had done to her mother and vowed not to go down that road herself, and yet here she was, madly in love with Anderson. But what if he couldn't give her what she wanted? Will she do what her mother did, or would she leave and never look back?
Creator's notes: I've tried writing Anderson/Sally in a more positive light, exploring the complexities of their relationship, and this was another side I wanted to explore.

Summary: It begins with a letter from Joan to the Sherlock Holmes based in London, where she asks him to intervene with his cousin, the Sherlock Holmes in New York, before he does something stupid. But when a case gets thrown into the mix, will two brilliant consultants be able to solve the case, or is New York City simply not big enough to handle their enormous egos?
Creator's notes: I went back and edited the first five chapters to have BBC!Sherlock referred to as Sherlock and Elementary!Sherlock referred to as Holmes. It will stay this way for the rest of the story, to make it less confusing.
